摘要
Abstract This is the first book on FEM modelling of contact-impact events and deals with finite element procedures for solutions to both static and dynamic contact-impact problems. Langrangian formulation is introduced and explicit and implicit solutions are presented. Numerical algorithms are implemented in computer programs to simulate industrial applications such as metal-forming processes and crashworthiness analysis of automobiles. This book is strongly engineering oriented and contains much new work and analysis based on practical experience which will make it invaluable to engineers, researchers and students.
