Three types of families of complex periodic sequences are shown to have nearly minimal correlation magnitudes. The sequences contain no zero entries. For certain pairs of sequences of period <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">N=(p- 1)/2, p</tex> a prime, all nonpeak correlation coefficients have magnitude close to <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">(2N)^{-1/2}</tex> .
